The Vinyl Junkies Record Shack is a brick & mortar shop based out of San Diego, California. From funk to punk, soul to hip hop, classic rock to jazz, psychedelic to blues (and the list goes on)…we carry it! So if you’re looking for that rare psych record or the latest Tame Impala release, Vinyl Junkies is an excellent place to get your record collecting fix.
We're located in San Diego's quaint and fiercely independent neighborhood of South Park, right across from the popular Whistle Stop Bar.

Vinyl Junkies Pop-Up Shop
Once its safe, we're looking forward to bringing back our bi-monthly pop-up shop held at San Diego’s favorite rock club, the Casbah. With vendors invited from all over southern California, the spot is turned into a vinyl collecting paradise. Tons of vinyl for sale, DJs spinning records throughout the day, drinks at the bar, and even free pizza from Lefty’s Pizzeria!

Vinyl Junkies was establish in 2017 by Eric Howarth (former owner of M-Theory Music & record label Hi-Speed Soul), and Tim Mays (owner of the legendary Casbah, Starlite, Krakatoa, Soda Bar). We aim to be the “go to” source for serious record collectors and new vinyl listeners alike.
We take special pride in our personalized service for our customers. Please use the Record Request form on this site for any records you’re currently looking for. Rare or common - doesn’t matter. We’ll keep an eye out for them and let you know when we have them in stock. Special orders for new/sealed records are easy too. If we don’t have it and it’s in print, we’ll order it and usually get it in in less than a week, giving you a phone call once it arrives.
